Hi everyone,

This is my first post here.

My first critique request is for this photo of my wife's plush toy. She really likes this toy. I thought she'd like to have it as a wallpaper. She really did.

I'd like your comments on both technical and aesthetic aspects. I'm very open to criticism so don't refrain yourselves.

Technical details: Exif: Nikon d70, 1/8 sec, f/11, iso200. I used an ordinary lamp to light it and a reflector to fill the shadows.

Nicely done; good work on the lighting. My only thought is that the shadow under the chin might be a bit deep, but that's fairly minor.

I agree - *really* nicely done. Perhaps a little more fill for the chin shadows, or maybe some dodging in post instead.

A nice shot for sure - would have been better as a 2 light setup, but still nice. I might burn in the face/nose 5-10%.

Thanks for your comments

tirediron, ben h: I'll try and post one with some dodging.

marko: Thanks to you and your podcast, I am now more "light" aware but I still have a lot to learn. How would you setup the 2nd light (lower right I guess) and would a 2nd reflector work the same?
