Did this this morning. made the colour image with three shots, exported it out of LR3, then opened it up again then moved it over to SEP v2. picked something simple and included them both here. During my visit to London (18-21 July) I'm planning to go shoot the Tower bridge at night, or dusk anyway (blue hour) and then do an HDR/B&W treatment of any of the good images I get.

Critiques welcome, of course. (I have thick skin)

Good first attempt indeed.

HDR tends to makes the blues come out a bit strong at times and ruin the whites so look for ways to correct that in post.

This is a good attempt, much better than my experience.. My first (and so far only attemp) was to try; a) Photoshop CS5 and trials of b) Nik's HDR Efex Pro (didn't even get this to work) and c) HDRSoft's Photomatix with much less than satisfying results. What software is SEP V2 and who makes it.

@madaussie - thanx for the tip!

What software is SEP V2 and who makes it.

Nik Software Silver Efex Pro v2

and thanx for the assessment, always room to grow. I've been "thinking" in HDR for some time and was just waiting to try it out when the subject presented itself.
