Wonderful shots!

I want to try these but I need an attachment to the camera to get the bulb option going..that or hold the shutter button for a long period of time ;)

You don't necessarily need the bulb option, but you do need an intervalometer to take the multiple shots :) The 1st photo is stacked from ~250 30-second exposures. So you can get a simple intervalometer that just does 30-sec exposures over USB, without the need for the special remote-release cable. It's also easier to do this via stacking (although more time-consuming), because it's very hard to estimate correct exposure times once you get into multi-hour exposures.
Also, most digital cameras will introduce noise into the photo when doing extremely long exposures. This is due to some components, including the sensor itself, getting too hot when keeping the shutter open for a very long time. So, long story short, I recommend stacking multiple shorter exposures, but you can try many different ways, of course!
