Love the lighting in the foreground bringing attention to the implied actions going on off scene, and lovin' that sky. (not too sure of the fire thing though)

Have to agree. Love the lighting in this one, but the fire thing is just a big distraction.

love the sunset and bikini. I think the fire thing would work if it were darker but it is competing as the subject. However, it's a neat idea!

Interesting shot, boomstik. It is a very nice sunset and that fire is kinda cool. How was it done?

I , for one, love the swoosh created by the fire. only thin i would have changed - since this is a posed composition - I think I would not have been so meticulous to lay out the bikini so "perfectly".

Thanks everyone!
@Matt: Funny enough, there's nothing posed about this shot... the girl who left the bikini on the rocks laid it out like that herself. I didn't touch it. :)

The fire "swoosh" was created by another girl who was walking around with a torch, and didn't realize that I was shooting. Pure serendipity. And I actually love it because it tells a story of what's going on around the scene as well (there were people spinning fire poi).

I did use a red LED for about 2 seconds to bring out the bikini (it's a 30" exposure if I remember correctly)

I like it. Something different. Cool to know it wasn't actually posed too.
