So yesterday I had planned to haul my butt out of bed and get up at 4:30 to shoot the sun rise... but after staying up late decided against it. Low and behold my cat starts playing with his toy in my room , and being a ultra light sleeper I was instantly awake, I rolled over to look at the clock and it was no joke exactly 4:30 in the morning...seeing this as some sort of sign/fate I got up and shot these

Man what fantastic shots. How many of them will you frame? Gosh, you could start a gallery with them!

I shot a sunrise in Tasmania (Tassie Sunrise Link) (http://www.photography.ca/Forums/f11/tas-anatomy-sunrise-10746.html) last year that was the best sunrise I'd ever seen.

This rivals that sunrise! Beautiful work. Such awesome cloud formations to go with the colours.

Nice, sometimes animals and kids can come through without meaning to. Camping on a lake this weekend facing the east so hopefully the scouts get going early so I can catch the sunrise there.

Sure glad you didn't go back to sleep or we all would have missed this unbelievable set. The different colour variations you captured are just amazing, and the detailed cloud formations are so well done. Some of the best I have seen Jude.
