I feel my posts are improving. Here are a few shots of a loon. Personally the shot of her egg is the most interesting. But please let me know what you think.

It is harder to see in the thread because of the resolution. But in picture two. You can see my boat. The outline of the boat and the motor. My mentor driving. And me standing and taking a picture. Even the flash is evident.
Simply look deeeeep into the red eye.

Yes, the reflection is easy to see if you know it's there. The front perspective of the first shot threw me a bit until I realized what I was looking at. It's a neat find. I don't think I've seen a loon close up before.

Wonderful close ups of this loon. I've never seen them that close. Well done.

As for suggestions, if I point your attention to #2 (my favourite from this set and yes, I can see your reflection. ) the profile is very well done and the sharpness in her eye is quite nice, however, her beak is way too close to the edge of the frame which takes away from an otherwise wonderful shot.

What an amazing looking loon! I too like the perspective in shot one, i feel the eyes could be sharper though. (Look at the eye in shot 2 for example, much sharper).

Nice shots
I like No 2 the best.
Sharp and I like the reflection.

That's cool seeing the boat and flash in the eye like that. Love the patterns on this bird.
