We went out on the side x side for a tour on some nearby trails, kind of on a mission for blueberries. We found so many blueberries, about 12 cups worth in 40 minutes picking/eating:). After that, we looked on GPS and saw there was a lake nearby, so headed that way, parked the side by and walked through bush......

.....and found this beautiful lake with cliffs and a waterfall flowing into it. We couldn't get close to waterfall as it was on other side of lake, but will be going back for more. You can see how steep cliff is, as that is the top of a mature White Pine on left side in front of cliff.

On the right is the rubble field at bottom of 200+ ft. cliff. We had to do some pretty serious climbing up/down these cliffs to get to lake.

Sorry about quality, these were from my old Sony F717. Didn't know what we were going to get into, so didn't take the "good" cam's.

I officially hate your guts.
But in a nice way.
Wonders to behold where you live. enjoy and share more. I think I look good in green.

You're going to have to stop this local exploration. Tell us the photo's were from some long-past vacation in Europe or someplace.

Thanks so very much everyone, I really do appreciate the kind words.
One thing I do not take for granted, is the beauty I have been so lucky to be able to be surrounded by, but I don't think that I will ever get used to it, or get sick of it.
Just to make a few people feel better, we went for a 2 hour drive North, back into woods today, and did not even take a single pic of our travels. There were no real roads/towns/civilization, from where we were, all the way to Hudson Bay. Only saw a couple other people on four-wheelers.

I'm with Marko. My favourites ar 3 and 4.

Now that would be a venture. Go through the woods all the way to Hudson's Bay. Certainly a lot more than 2 hours.

Thanks again to all for the generous words, and will definitely be going back to get some more pics.

As for Hudson Bay, waaaaay more than two hours. We are going to try to load up side by side on train and maybe go up to James Bay next year, for a trip into the bush. Should be a blast. It is a flag stop train, so they will pick you up, drop you off, at little flag posts along tracks. We'll see how things go, but really hoping to do this trip.
