I was out at Tamtams in Montreal and someone was walking around trying to sell puppies. Of course, my girlfriend had to hold them :)

Here is one of the photos I took.

very very cute puppy and well shot.

But you mean to say that someone was wondering around selling puppies not caring who they went to?

this is super-cute! :) If it were mine, I'd crop the limbs on the left edge as they distract. Since you had room up top it would have been cute to see puppy's feet.

And yup...the animal laws in Quebec SUCK.
Any bonehead with zero knowledge about breeding or animal care, can put 2 animals together and sell their offspring in a park, from their car, off the street - whatever.

Very cute and Marko's advice on the crop is good advice.

I was too worried about getting the shot in focus to realize that I was chopping off the poor puppies feet. I get about 1 shot in 50 with crisp focus and almost never on the eyes.
I am saving for glasses and will be practicing more. :)

Thank you for the advice. I am beginning to see more of the picture so to speak.

All these things take time. I'm not sure I'm worried too much about his back feet. I think the limbs that Marko was referring to and the ones that "bug" me were the arm / shoulder of the person on the left edge of the image. Cut them out of the shot and then it's a much better image that I'm sure your girlfriend will like a lot more.

I cropped it but was worried about bringing the edges any closer to Zou. There is a small amount of bathing suit in the bottom corner but beyond cropping I have no means of changing photographes.
Should I have gone tigher with the crop?
