Worth The Wait???

Had to lay in wait for approx. one and a half hours to get this tiny Pied-billed Grebe. They are quite shy and dive underwater very often.

absolutely worth it. I've never seen these IRL. You might touch the contrast up a bit, but other than that they're strong images.

Yes indeed, worth the wait. Their heads are soaking wet so they must have just popped up out of the water when you caught them on camera. Nice catch!

I'm sure you should be able to find some around your area. Problem is, they are quite shy, and usually dive and swim great lengths underwater, then lay really low with only their head sticking out of water.
