Noticed this scene Friday as I was driving by on my way to help out a friend and put in my brains need to shoot file. Luck would have it we had some rain come through today and I headed over to wait to see if the lighting would get nice afterwards. I came home happy.

Well there was one shot I missed that I was disappointed about. There was a rainbow forming and I had the lens pointing at it waiting for some better colors. All of a sudden there was lightning going every which direction around it and over my head. Scared the living day lights out of me and I pushed the wrong spot on my remote shutter. :wall-an: Ah well, you get some and you miss some.

I like it, but am wondering about the tree halo.

I really like this comp LQ! LOVELY!
if I had 1 comment or 2 - i wish you had included just a bit more of the pathway in the foreground at bottom left. The halo is a bit distracting as WD mentioned
Hope that helps - Marko

Lovely composition and colours. Perhaps as Marko said there could be a bit more of the pathway in the foreground, However as is, it still has nice leading lines to the shack, which also stands out because it is beside the largest object, the tall tree beside it.

I was wondering the same, but apparently this is not due to dodging ... I have an image where i Have one lone tree .. and there is a halo around that one as well ... without me touching it ... seems to me it's just like the sensor sees it ... but I could be wrong. Very nice hues, though, love the mood.

Thanks. The halo bugs me as well but I have no idea what to do about it.
