Quick trip last night for a bbq..got to take off for a couple of mins. Of course I could of had those minutes turn into hours but that would of been pretty rude of me.

Ya got to get your priorities straight, Kat. You can party in the dark, but use the light to take images ... nice set, really like the black and white one; nice mixture of tranquility (water, mountains) and turmoil (sky).

Shot 1 for me as well. I like the natural layers in this scene.

The first shot is teasing me with what's just beyond those trees. I like it. Time well spent.

I'll buck the system. Number 2 interests me. Why is there a river bed without a river? Though number 1 is nice as well :)

probably just seasonal run off.

Shot 2 for me, too, because that's the type of place where you go poking around now that the water level is down and hope you don't turn an ankle on one of the rocks.

Ditto. Would love to know what the shoreline offered.

I think you are more considerate than I would have been. I probably would have taken the hours and said the heck with everybody else. Especially when you have scenes like number 1.
