Nice waterfall, but somehow i feel my composition lacks "wow". But I cannot quite figure it out yet. Any suggestions would be appreciated!! (ie. darken/lighten some trees, rocks, crop something out, etc...). Thanks!

I think this is a lovely composition. The greens are oversatutared to my eye but that's a matter of taste, the oversaturation competes with the waterfall though.
I might darken the bottom left corner to keep my eye focused on the falls..
Often the wow you seek will depend on the light. If the light happens to be dramatic (or you wait for it, or create it in many cases) you'll often get a more dramatic shot. The angle or perspective often gets you the wow as well. This is a keeper though, the water has a lovely ghostly feel.

I like your second version better. Marko is right- with more dramatic light you will get a more dramatic shot but it's not always possible to be at a spot when the light is dramatic. :) If it were mine, I'd clone out that fern on the bottom. But I do love this waterfall and your shot is lovely.
