Seems like a lot of people are getting hit by annoying problems lately. My list, for the last 30 days, includes:
* Replace the dryer.
* 3 weeks later, the washer decides to pack it in, too.
* Mike's Harley started acting up. He takes it to the neighbor (used to work at one of the local dealerships). It needs some servicing, carb rebuild (he says no one uses carbs any more), head needs to come off and the last place that worked on it loctited one of the bolts in. Takes him 3 days to work it loose. The bike will still need a rear tire and the bearings repacked.
* Replace the DVD player
* Give up on being able to concentrate with the call center next to me. Buy a set of noise canceling headphones so I can get some work done.
* Replace the struts and shocks on one of the cars.
* Last night, have the air conditioning fixed (capacitor blew, needed new refrigerant)
Murphy is not only wearing thin, but he's getting expensive.
