I thought I would put up a couple of shots I got from the weekend of Mad Aussie cycling.
This was a long ride from the bottom of a mountain to the top, very steep climbs.

I really like the expressions you caught with them hitting the water.

Was a great weekend. The mountain they rode up was too tough for me nad my Auntie though, so we followed them up in the car, which was lucky for them, as a couple of the riders were totally buggered from riding up those steep hills and just couldn't go further, so we gave them a lift up.
As for the creek crossing, that was the day before the big ride up the mountain. That was alot of fun going through those creek crossings.

Very cool set of splashing and nice shots of you two....It's about time you posted something else, Chantelle...seems like forever since we've seen something from you. ;)

:) Hydraulic disc brakes ... one finger braking leaves more hand on the bars for control.

Awesome captures on both accounts. Love the water action shots and Chantelle's capture of MA hamming it up.

My old 'Goose'? :) That's the first MTB I ever owned ... an old Mongoose (I've rebadged it as MAngoose :) ) that now has some fairly good bits on it and weighs only 11 1/2 kgs. I've had several high end bikes over the years, and I sold my beloved hand made Ventana dual suspension bike early this year due to lack of use, but the Goose lives on :)
