I knew before I went to shoot DOA last night it was going to be a challenge and I cannot recall the last time I was in the mosh pit never mind while taking photos. My poor body is paying dearly for it, may not have been the brightest idea considering my very badly broken and abused back but I did the whole set and although it hurts like hell I am do glad I did it, made me feel young again. Here are two crowd shots. For most of the set I was at the front and at one point laying on the stage to get photos. The way to get to the front was put my camera over me head turn my back to the crowd and just plough through while being bumped and slammed. I must be an arteest as I suffer for my art lmaooooooo. It got so hot and steamy I had problems keeping my lens fog free. Probably the last time I will be doing something this daft but man made me feel young again. I first saw DOA in 1978 in Vancouver while I was living there, was a hardcore punk rocker than and it appears I still have some of that passion in me.

Okay AL you are officially crazy.:laughing: I remember my son would come home from a concert covered in bruises from being in the mosh pit. He would moan a bit and I had no sympathy at all (I am a mean mother ;);)).

but the shots are perspectives I wouldn't see otherwise. and sometimes it's fun to do stuff like you used to.....

I agree you are a bit crazy... that was never my "scene". Love the shots though. Nicely done and glad you enjoyed it.

Great to see photos from this viewpoint! Hope you showed the young whippersnappers how it should be done.
