I can see what you mean about the bridge picture I did could have been in a rainforest there, that looks just like it could have been from around here. Except I am still trying to figure out how we can go months without rain and yet still have the rain forest like environment.

Love the perspective of the log though, gives the tree a dominant feel long after it's been dead.

This is the first time I've seen one of your shots that looks like it could have been taken here - almost. I'm a big fan of the natural greens and browns. Wonderful shot.

Nice shot MA! When I try to shoot in the forest it's almost always too dark with the lens I have (3.5 max). Do you use fast lens or higher ISO?

This was taken at f8 and ISO400 ... and 1/5th shutter. Think Tripod :)

that is something. It reminds me of the PacNorthWest. And around here is practically a rainforest this year. Crazy water everywhere. The mosses just soak it up like sponges. It's why the foliage change is late...that and it was 85 degrees yesterday.
