I've been trying this PITA hobby now for about two months. I feel these following shots are my best so far (no particular order). My three favorite are the alligator and Joe in the second post and the BW of the general store (the pumpkin is #4):

Some nice shots in there for such a short career :)

I also like the general store photo, nice BW conversion there, and the little girl in the pumpkins is great, I'd say it's my favourite of the lot - good composition and great complimentary colour, nice light on her face. A minor niggle would be that I suppose it is possibly a tiny bit too dark overall.

Two months... hmm... some more practice to come I think. I've taken 25,000+ frames in the last 2 1/2 years which I guess means I average around 10,000 shots a year and I rarely use burst mode.

This series, however, shows that you have a reasonably good eye for composition but just require more practice on the technical aspects. Keep up the good work!

That's when you change the drive mode of the camera to shoot 3.5 photos/second. Check out page 63 of your XSi manual.

This is now my favorite picture I've taken but I have to give Vyeko most of the credit for the post work

#4 in the first post, and the shot in post 8 are the two best by far in my opinion.
