I like the processing! Perhaps a little soft but nicely dramatic. It's reminiscent of some of Nick Brandt's (http://www.nickbrandt.com/) amazing photography. If you haven't already seen them 'A Shadow Falls' is an excellent collection of his pictures.

Edit: I'd forgotten about Boza Ivanovic (http://www.bozaivanovic.com/v3/stories.asp) too, if you like this style I think you'll love his pictures.

Boza Ivanovic was actually my inspiration for the pic. I had seen it a few weeks ago but there was no name associated to the photo on facebook ( someone stole it from another site I guess) After see ing it I looked at some old files from the summer and came up with my own version. The pic is soft due to a chain link fence that was actually in the way . Thanks for the links ...now I know where my inspiration came from!

It's a bit soft for me too but I love the single light and shadow.

Ivanovic's work is hard hitting in a grungy sort of way.

Glad I could be of assistance!

As I recall Ivanovic is trying to use this technique to say something about animals in captivity, and on the whole I think the stark results do add to the lonely feeling of his photos. I'm a bit clueless as to how he achieves the results though :)

As was said, a bit soft, but very dramatic look/pose with the pp. Nicely done K-Bob.

I really like the color ---- it is quite calming and peaceful.
