A new park in Calgary, designed to be a wetland area for flood control. More information at The City of Calgary - Ralph Klein Park (http://www.calgary.ca/CSPS/Parks/Pages/Locations/SE-parks/Ralph-Klein-Park.aspx)
Today it was completely deserted. All the water is frozen and the water fall is turned off. I'm sure it will be more spectacular in the summertime. I shall return. Meanwhile...

Looks like a real cool place. I have not been there yet. Sadly, Ralph Klein is not doing very well health wise. I was personally never a fan of his but he was a dynamic character on the Alberta and particularily Calgary political scene. Love the "ranch" scene withe mountains in the background in particular.

Thanks for the comments. I'm looking forward to going back when the water is running in the spring.
