Ran into this beauty at a McDonald's... I asked her if I could photograph her -- she agreed  --- Amber is up pretty high (About 10 feet above street level) sitting on a fountain --- I asked her to hold the streams of Christmas lights so it looked as if she were swinging. It was getting pretty dark too, so the ISO was ramped up pretty good.

Nice photo, it is great when you see someone who you want to photograph and they enjoy participating. She looks a bit whimsical.

Very cool but I wish she was looking at the camera. I applaud you for having the guts to ask a stranger to take the time to pose for you. Awesome results.

Very cool idea to get her holding the strings so she looks like she's swinging. It worked at first glance!

Nice one Susan!

Many photographers are wimps (I used to be one of them...now i just force myself) when it comes to asking strangers to pose. ... ....Most times.... people are flattered and say yes!

Thanks for the kind words and taking the time to comment everyone! :-) Iggy -- there are plenty from the session where she is looking into the camera :-) I will plan to share a few more later.... :-)

Iggy - Amber isn't on a fountain here, but she is looking at the camera :D

Nice idea holding the string of lights. On first look I really thought it was a swing. I kind of like her looking up and not into the camera. it kind of adds to the dreamy look.

Very nicely done, Susan, both of them. I especially like shot 2, the softness of her face is so nicely emphasized by the fur, shawl and hair. Very well done.
