When ever my son comes back home to Iowa, Grandson Atley and I play "model". He wasn't quite off the hook being gramma's favorite model when this photos was taken. None of the babies had arrived yet. You can see the intensity in his eyes as to how much he loves :goodvibes the "model" game he and I play. Now. He is one of 4 of gramma's favorite models. ;) Hm. I have to wonder, will he miss all of the camera time now that he won't be the only one?

side note: MA - I am sure that this is one of those images that has been done by many photogs along the way. I have no clue who to credit with the idea of wrapping a kid up in a piece of fabric, but I am sure there is someone, indeed.

Cool play here susan - very interesting golden hues. Dig the sharp eye.

There is a famous photograph from Life magazine (I think) of a blue eyed Muslim girl with a blue wrap. I cannot find the link, but your shot here reminds me of it.

Beautiful shot!!!

This isn't a shot that's familiar to me at all really :)

I like the strong gold tones here ... almost a statue feel about it. Love the strong, bright eye.
