I think there may be too many series of lines here. There isn't a defined focal point that I can see. If it's the man and boy they are too small to see any detail.

see, this is why it's great to get other people's viewpoints. i never even thought of that. hmmm. in this case, this shot is taken from the far side of the amphitheater, and so if I were to make the people bigger, I'd have to zoom in more and probably take a few steps back too, right? it would probably make the bars thicker, but at least the people would look bigger (unless I'm thinking backwards). good point!

EJC is bang on here. The people are too small and there's little you can do about it now (that will make the picture look good at the end).

If you went back, I'd back up as you said and focus on the central bars orthe people in the central bars, using those central bars as a frame.

This shot has a lot of interesting elements and I like all of the tones and textures you captured.

Maybe it was Tirediron who stated this in another post, but I'll paraphrase here "Always look for the shot within the shot". The image has a lot going on in it and your viewer may find it difficult to know exactly what you intended your subject to be. If it is the two people sitting down then I would have the tendency to want to make them my only subject by cropping the shot (as I have shown below).

Also be careful when you have a shot with many vertical and horizontal lines. If these lines don't appear parallel with each other they will detract from you image, so you should take a moment to straighten these out in post.

Don't forget to post you camera settings it will help everyone understand how the shot was taken.
