Winter in the midwest is like it is in most places with weather extremes, somewhat 'plains' landscape and big cities hours away.
Top photo - the wind was working hard at releasing the milkweed seed - off it went soon after this shot was taken.
middle photo - as my love and i were walking up towards the car - i caught these lovers out of the corner of my eye. i love it when nature reads the same as i do. :)
bottom photo- a lone curlycue. nature has such a clever sense of humor.
BTW --- i made myself use my kit lens :-D ---- 75-300/f4-5.6
