I just spent over a week in Jamaica. One of my goals was to see a orange billed streamer tail, and I did! but for only a unprepared moment up in the blue mountains

not the clearest shots in the world :(

Wow!! Might not be the sharpest but still very cool shots. I've never seen a Hummingbird with a tail like that. Very cool.

Yes, it is a hummingbird. Its known as the Doctor bird, and also comes in a black billed variety as well. Its tail is pretty fantastic!

Doctor bird. I wonder where that came from?

I know now ...
There are several theories about how the Doctor Bird got its name. One is that the black crest and long tail feathers of the male bird resemble the top hat and tail coats worn by doctors in days gone by. Another theory is that the name comes from its long bill which it uses to extract pollen from plants (as it resembles a doctor's syringe). The Taino Indians believed that the Doctor Bird has magical powers and called it the "God Bird", believing it to be the reincarnation of a dead soul. In most rural parts of Jamaica there is a belief that killing a Doctor Bird will bring bad fortune to one's self. However, killing a Doctor Bird is not easy, there is even a Jamaica saying "Doctor Bud a cunny bud, hard bud fi dead" (the Doctor Bird is a clever bird which cannot be easily killed). - Source Doctor Bird - Jamaica Travel and Culture .com (http://www.jamaicatravelandculture.com/national-icons/doctor-bird.htm)

It's also the National bird of Jamaica.

A very nice set. It's hard to get a perfect shot when shooting in the wild but these are good just the same.
