Last night I stepped out the back door, and saw this wasp finishing its battle with the spider. It then carried the spider vertically up a 2 metre steel fence before disappearing. 14634 14633

I thought I had better leave out the part where the wasp keeps the spider alive (but paralysed) as a receptacle for its eggs!!!
