Overcast day, running water, melting ice and a variable ND grad filter: made for each other. It's a small provincial park, about 15 km. outside the city, with a spring running through it over waterfalls.

Thanks for your comments on these. Indeed the middle one has a green cast to it, a result I believe of changing the white balance in Camera Raw to shade, when leaving it as shot, would have been far better. After thinking about these for a week, I find I like the black and white versions better than than the color ones.
Here's the color re-edit:

Nice set of photos. I really like the re-edit of the 2nd photo. The edges of the ice look amazing

Really love all the shapes in the ice formations. Lovely place indeed to spend an afternoon/morning.

Looks great! What kind of a walk is it to get to these?

Thanks for the comments on these.
C.B. Once you are in the parking lot it's a 5-10 minute walk to the bottom of the stream. The hike continues another kilometer or so along the stream and up to an overlook. There's a loop out behind that returns to the parking lot as well, maybe another kilometer. Easy walk with some stairs and bridges. Enjoy if you go.
