View Full Version : Big Rainforest Tree

This is the base of one of many large rainforest trees we see on our walks. I think this one might be a species of fig.
The 2nd pic with my daughter Chantelle in front shows you the size of the truck as well as what the general rainforest surrounding was down by the creek. This is where we saw all the crayfish walking around the trails.

Wow that is a tree.From this tree I will have over winters enough woods for many years.Great deep colors.

Wow, some size to that for sure MA, very nice detail in both. Love the look of the roots in that first shot. Almost looks like large burl growing on it. Sure glad you had Chantelle in second shot, or would be hard to get scale of how large it really is.

Yes ... having Chantelle there was purely for that reason ... to give scale. There are actually bigger trees in the forest. Not sure they match up to the big Redwoods 'Big Trees' of Washington State in the US but they have some size for sure.
