schedule has been crazy lately and unable to get out to shoot (working out of town and teaching on the weekends).

decided to re-work this shot in the latest version of Lightroom - must say I really do think they have improved the abilities of the program.

this was shot reflective with a 75" umbrella and one SB 600 on full power using Nikon D5000 and a Nikkor 50mm f1.8 G

Really great light setup with excellent result.I only like to see background more out of focus.

No argument there vyeko, this was shot in our family room where space is limited and could not get enough separation from the background.

Looks good Ed and I know the problem with getting distance between you and the background. It is something I am working to solve I have some room but not a ton and trying to find the best solution soften the background so it does not distract like I also have had happen on a few photos. I have a roll of white paper that would solve it but I do not always want to work with white or black.

Nice rework Ed! Just as an FYI - On my monitor, skin tones are slightly red/orange.

B&W, boost the structure a little bit.
