So I decided to try getting some canvas prints done. I had to by wood boards to glue the loose canvas on. All was going well till the gluing stage. I managed to get glue on the front of all 3 prints.
I tried gently rubbing it off with a damp cloth, but no. I got frustrated and went ahead and sprayed them with a krylon protective spray that was supposed to be glossy.....um no its mat. So now you can see weird shiny spots from the glue.
So dose anyone know of a super glossy spray, I could put on them that might hide the shininess of the glue?
I was thinking of going to the paint store and trying a liquid plastic/ varathane on them.

I dont think Id take this on again, what a mistake....$80.00!

I cannot help without photos, the name of the actual ingredients and what type of photo paper you used, it seems like it may be fixable but with the information I mentioned I really have no idea on where to tell you to start.

So I ended up buying a glossy spray varnish. Ive put on 3 coats and so far so good. It is super glossy of course but you can no longer see the glue.
A.L I don't know the specific paper, but ill post some photos shortly

This is how it came from the printers

the dreaded glue smudge before gloss

and after, you can still see it a bit, but not nearly as noticeable

and from above

here's the seal Super shiny

if you look along the very bottom edge just left of his eye, you can see a thicker spot, that is the glue. Its still way less noticeable now then before the varnish.

One thing, be patient about trying to fix it, time is not an issue currently so look at your options first and then you can decide. Just so you do not stress more than you need to is all.

Is the Krylon product Crystal Clear and if not exactly what was it? And how did you apply the glue and what glue? Sorry about all the questions just trying to think of a solution so I need some more info. I really also cannot tell where you have the glue on the seal there is no white looking air in the bump and is it under or on top of the photo, the globule looks on top, not sure just in the photo it appears to be on the surface? I don't see any but just something else you can tell me so I know how to give you an opinion or two of what your options are in my humble estimation that is.

P.S. Gorgeous prints by the way.
