I was installing a new bumper on a customer's car yesterday (I work in a bodyshop), when I noticed sunlight streaming through an upper window, filtering through one of our welding screens, and the glow reflecting off of the shield to one of our tire balancing machines. Shadows from a parts storage cart right behind the screen is what is causing the right angle shadow.

I love this image for its abstract shapes.

BTW, you can only imagine the looks and comments I got from my co-workers who don't have an artistic nerve in their body...)

I'm glad you had the sense to get your camera! This is a very cool shot... thanks for sharing. The funny thing is, I bet if you printed it and framed it and took it into the shop and put it on the wall they would all get it then. Good on ya for seeing what others can't.

NO, I dont think that they would.....most body men aren't artists (in the traditional sense), and wouldn't know culture if landed on their face and started to wiggle. I showed my boss this morning (he was one of the guys that 'caught' me) and he looked VERY puzzled. Now, don't get me wrong, my boss is great! It is not often that one gets a boss like him, but, if something is not 'defined' for him, such as, "this is a ....", he won't see it.

Really like that abstract and for this kind of images we need to have imagination. What not have all people.

Very cool shot Justin, and as was said, you have a very artistic eye.
