I love the paired photo, but the individual ones are missing something.

Here is the original of the first image (other than some cropping). The grass and plants are VERY rich in color, but they seem washed out a little.

REALLY Nice portraits AT - I like them all, but the first is pretty special.

Thanks Runmonty, but something just isn't right in my eyes (especially the first one). They are a little washed out compared to the greenery. We live in south Louisiana, we already have Spring time tans!!!

Bump for some critiquing.

Well done AT! Shot 1 is a real keeper!!!
I disagree with your assessment of image 1 - Looks fine to me. Whites might be slightly overexposed (looking at original) but not enough to bother me and you were able to correct it well (looking at shot 1 post 1).
The eyes are very crisp and sharp and well lit. If the girls look very washed out on your monitor, it might possibly be because your monitor is too bright.

Shot 2 - it's a cute shot - eyes are quite sharp. What bugs me is the red cast to the face, it's very noticeable to me. It could be reduced by a good 30 +% perhaps.

shot 3 is cute with a small reddish cast to the face.

Hope that may help.

They are all very nice AT!! If I had to say I would think the whites are a little bright/washed out in the first one....but only a little. I'm sure you could probably edit that out.

I still like these - if you wanted to get super critical you may wish to clone out the weed on the right of the first one and the pipe at top left by the brickwork - just nitpicking though

Thanks for the advice. I went back and edited out the weeds and the pipe, plus Idid a ton of layering, slightly adjusting the color and saturation on just the girls until it was seamless. I also left out the vignetting, I like it better with out it.

I like the pose in the 3rd photo. Her coloured dress certainly stands out against the green grass and shrubs.
