The Lesser Yellowlegs are finally back. Got a couple in-flights, as they were cruising by. This was runnin', and gunnin'. Walk along the shore till they take flight, then quickly set tripod/gimbal head combo down, find in viewfinder, focus, and shoot, gone. Only way to shoot in-flight as they were staying along shore tight in to reeds. Could hear them, but not see them until they took flight. Heck of a challenge, but loads of fun, and missed shots.

Wonderful shots, HBG, now that you know where they are, you'll have to bring your sleeping bag and blind and set up amongst the reeds ... :evil2: ....
