Thanks all. This is the first time I remember seeing cruise ship decks littered with crew glued to iphones and pads and I've been going down there for a few years.

Or how many of them will assist you when you need help other than a phone call? Oops, I meant tweet, status update ....

Yes, very strong image showing how independent/isolated most have become from actual human contact while communicating. Pretty sad really, and another reason I like living where I do, and in an old fashion family values type atmosphere.
