yup, they are very skiddish, you are lucky to get as close as you did. My dream to have a chance at a loon one of these years ...

excellent set, love #4, so cute.

Thanks guys! we were serenaded by there haunting calls drifting over the lake. I was able to sneak along behind some pine tree's to get as close as I did.
