- or so the expression goes.

Got a call on my way home from my favourite little camera shop and this is what was presented.

A 4x5 monorail view camera complete, in great shape. Haven't loaded film yet, as I have been experimenting with the different movements of the camera -rise, swing, tilt and shift to get an understanding of how it effects the focus and composition. Stay tuned.

Giant Lens Baby - never thought of it that way  and not to sure about the special this or that, I guess time will tell ( it came with a focusing loupe, focusing hood, 3 double sided film holders,a 210mm lens = 70mm in 35mm, a 90mm lens = 30mm in 35mm and I bought a daylight tank developer that is for 4x5).

Vyeko - my main interest for this would be landscape, still life and some very patient portrait subjects (most likely formed by my admiration for the work of Edward Weston (http://www.google.ca/search?q=edward+weston&hl=en&prmd=imvnso&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=K1vMT5nRDpCr0AGx9JCUAQ&sqi=2&ved=0CGYQsAQ&biw=1440&bih=767), Ansell Adams (http://www.anseladams.com/), Clyde Butcher (http://www.clydebutcher.com/), Richard Avedon (http://www.richardavedon.com/), Dorthea Lange (http://www.google.ca/search?q=dorothea+lange&hl=en&prmd=imvnso&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=BlzMT7CTG8nm0QGx8Y10&sqi=2&ved=0CGsQsAQ&biw=1440&bih=767) and others I can't just remember at the moment).
