I think I may have posted this in the past, but is anyone very satisfied with any of these? and if so, why?

I might be interested in switching a personal site (not photography.ca) from a WP based theme to one of these services.

many thx in advance!

I really haven't spent much time using any of those services, however, if you are looking for a site management tool, I've heard a lot of really good stuff about Build a Website - Create a Blog - Squarespace (http://www.squarespace.com) It's a pay site which ups the ante a bit though you can try it for free for a couple of weeks.

Thanks iggy - but the strong point of the sites listed above are the galleries plus ecommerce ability. Not sure I see strong gallery potential from this link. Will poke a bit further tho. Thx.

I don't use it for ecommerce or blogging but as far as having a nice layout goes and displaying your photos, Smugmug is very good. I have my own domain name connected to it, Jacqueline A. Sheen's Photos | SmugMug (http://www.jasphoto.ca). There are lots of choices including using your own design at the full pay levels. As far as selling your product goes, imagekind gives a choice of high end papers etc. I would not recommend them if you are trying to get rich unless you want to put a lot of your own effort into pushing your own product from other sites. I did recently sell a couple of prints there though, which was a pleasant surprise as I never promote my work. Smugmug is also useful for hosting private galleries for say event work or wedding work that lets only those with the a password view the photos.
