Hey all,
Coffee has a special place in Ethiopia. People almost drink the whole day, as one can imagine from the size of the pot here.;)

Thanks a lot theantiquetiger,Marko asnow and Runmonty!
Looks strong! where's all the milk and sugar? :) What's that for?:mad:
In this part of the country you have two choices for your coffee, a pinch of salt or a little bit of spiced butter.
How do you like your coffee, Sir?

I do like the casual expression of the subject. The art of "simply pouring a cup" is wonderfully displayed here. One could start deliberating what will be discussed by the people about to sit down and enjoy a cup - socially. Strong image, very well done

Yeah I know I drink a 'joke' of a cup of coffee compared to the purists - milk and sugar for me.
Again lovely image.
I like the shot, it is very interesting.
Sure is a huge coffee pot. Is there a 2nd handle or something on the back, either that or its not as heavy as it looks because she seems to have a light hold on it.
excellent casual portrait Yisehaq, I couldn't help but feel that this image would be incredible in B&W/monotone. I have noticed you permission to edit so here is a quick conversion in Lightroom 4.1

I prefer the colour one and it's very nice... I'm sorry I missed it. I really love the casual moment captured.

This pot has only one handle. You are right it looks light. It should contain not much coffee in it.

In fact, as my post processing skills are not that much developed, to say the list:wall-an: I appreciate to see what others could do with my images. I like your processing too. Thanks edG!

Wish I had seen it sooner myself. It's a wonderful image. For me, a fascinating portrayal of something you find to be an everyday occurrence. Exquisitely communicated.

Very nice, and another vote for the colour version as it speaks to me more with that perfect lighting, and soft colours. Very nicely done.
