Im, on a 12 day roadtrip from Ohio to Wyoming and back to Ohio. Its fun, but Ive never seen this bird before. Anyone know what it is?

What you have there is a beautifully captured photo of a Meadowlark. Lovely sharp detail captured JJ. (looks like the Eastern subspecies with how bright yellow it is. Westerns are usually a little more pale by now)

That is a great detailed shot of a beautiful bird.

Awesome detail and sharpness... I so wish that branch wasn't right there in front but a great shot nonetheless. :thumbup:

Beautiful subject. This is an Eastern Meadowlark according to the Audubon Field Book
