I took this as the storm clouds were leaving and the sunset was peeking out of the clouds. This was processed with Luminance HDR software, Lightroom and Photoshop Elements.

Ill applaud the PP work. Ive been trying to get into HDR myself without much luck. Seems my skills are lacking in that area. With that being said, it might just be over the top for me personally. Im sure others would disagree, but it might just be too much. A more natural look might give me a bigger smile, but thats just me. I can almost promise you will get some to disagree.

It is cool with all the textures and but it is a little over the top for my taste. With this type of HDR you will find that some will love it and some will hate it.

I like the comp and colour but for me, this is also over the top HDR/processing.

Certainly falls in to the Over-The-Top category, but I can handle a certain amount of this kind. The lighting is fantastic.

Me too. It is certainly a striking image.

Very intense, well composed shot, but as was said, a little too much of a good thing, as the sky, especially, has lost all realism for me.

I was going for more of a "looks more like a painting than a photograph" look but after comparing it back to the original I would have to agree that it does not look very realistic. I also used a gradient filter in Elements to enhance the feeling that the more stormy dark clouds are moving overhead, using this filter made the clouds too dark and added to the unrealistic sky. Thank you everyone for your comments; they are a big help to me as I am new to post processing and still learning.

With all the great elements in this image, such as the composition, lighting, etc., I'd love to see some other processed versions of this shot. Kudos for the effort & thanks for posting the image. :)
