This shot is a composite of 60 30 second exposures (lighten mode), and 1 short exposure (1/4 second) of the move screen (darken mode)

Any comments welcome!!

I like this. I don't know how you got any clarity out of the people at 30 second exposures, especially 60 shots. What is that interesting pattern of dotted lights that seems to be wandering aimlessly?

kat: Thanks!
Lorey: It was a lucky thing that people didn't move much during the 30 seconds. When i stacked the images, I deliberately darkened the audience part of all images except for one (the best one), so that the audience in one image is used. There were many airplanes doing circles around the city while the movie was playing. That was peculiar - i noticed while I was sitting there.

Nice work. I've been thinking about how to pull off something similar at a drive-in near here.

Thanks for your feedback everyone! But please post your image, when you get a chance to try something similar yourself - i was positioned on a table that moved as people bumped into it and shuffled about during the movie. If you position your tripod on something steadier, you'll have some great images. Looking forward to seeing some!!
