I was just clowning around, making it up as I went along but I thought it was just goofy enough to post. I'm having trouble at the moment for some reason working with the D7000 Mov files so you'll probably end up having to download this to your HD. I'll work on a Quiktime solution over the next while :)

WARNING...I was just loose enough to accidentally drop the F word a couple of times...Sorry :)

Cool. Tres cool. Sure looks like you are having a great trip out East. :evil2: Well in your case most of Canada is East, anyways. Love your little blurb, you are a natural in front of a camera. Glad yo have not run into our red necks yet ... so a word of caution: when traveling West, try to avoid the Sundre area, Caroline and such .. pretty Red Neck there ... mind you, miracles happen: we had a pipeline spill in that area, and now the Red Necks and the Green Peacers are shaking hands ... go figure ... guess they both like clean water ...

you are a natural in front of a camera.

Great stuff Michael. As Matt said you are a natural, and also an engaging story teller. Thanks for sharing and letting us be part of your trip

Thanks guys. I love how the D7000 takes good video without much hassle. I like the fact that the audio track was clear, of course it helped to use the Sigma 10mm lens because the camera was only about three feet away from me. I'm just guessing you're on a MAC Jas? It should play for a windows machine. Anyway, Ill have a QT version up real soon

Thanks for the Qt version, Michael! That was awesome! Looks pretty hot there. You are a real stream of consciousness guy, made me laugh. The D7000 has a real nice picture for sure. As an aside, I used to live in Lethbridge long ago and those "reverse" hills with the huge river valleys are called "coolies". That video kind of gave me some nostalgia. :) Another thing you may encounter on the southern prairies are the prairie "lakes" which are really reservoirs for irrigation. Just imagine a scene just like the one you are in with a lake in it. Anyway, I enjoyed your video!

Fantastic. Made me laugh. The quality was fantastic. Video sure gives an even better opportunity to get "meet" someone than a still. I like how comfortable you were. I know I really tighten up when a camera is pointed at me.

I really enjoyed that! I didn't have a beer left in the fridge, but when I get more I'm gonna sit down and watch this again just to have a brew with you, bro.

There's a lot of neat little places in the area. Did you happen to get to Wayne? Quite a few motorcyclist go there on the weekends for a brew but the rest of the week is pretty quiet.
