Here is another in my Oak Lake Sunset series. This one was shot much tighter at 170mm f/14, ISO 3200, 1/200th. Overall I'm fairly pleased with this one, let me know your thoughts. Thanks Sean

I like the tighter crop because it's immediately obvious what the image is about.

I like this crop as well - the image has a bit of a retro feel for me and I dig it. The image would be even stronger for me though if the gestures of the fisherman were more in tandem. Lovely 'gestures' are like lipstick that make the face even prettier. (Can't believe I just wrote that - lol)
I'll admit I'm a softie on this...and I guess my eye just wants to see more love here because the scene looks romantic. If not more love, just more classic fishing positions.
In this case, from this angle, the woman looks more like she's walking through the scene instead of actively fishing.
I may have chosen to have the sharpest focus on the silhouettes instead here but this still works for me.
Just as an FYI - I too have 'spied' on people in this way waiting for the perfect gesture that may or may not happen....
Hope that may help and I'm very much enjoying these pix - hope to see more.

I agree, nicely done.

I liked the original, but I like the crop even better. As the others said it gives a better focus on the subject

The only thing that bothers me just a little is that his fishing rod goes out of frame. It leads my eye off frame. That is just a tiny bothersome, great image overall!!!
