Thank you very much, HBG. One works with what one has. Until I can put aside enough for that macro lens I'll have to get my with my reversed 50mm :)

You really are getting to be a master of that reverse fast fifty. Save you pennies (well dollars) for that 100mm macro. Can't wait to see those pictures. I was listening to the Photofocus podcast and Scott Bourne says that the 100mm macro is one Canon's sharpest lenses.

Thanks, Runmonty, chrisflees, and AntZ. In truth I was a little disappointed with the wasp shot. He was in a bit of a shadow and the best I could muster was f8 which didn't give me as much depth of field as I would have liked. It was still cool to see that little piece of nature happening in front of me though.

I'm a fan of the wasp shot too, interesting subject, and lovely coloured soft background. I see your point of the dof, but still a note worthy image...
