We don't have to look too hard to find these in the wild. They are attractive birds, but get a few of them together and they can get pretty noisy.

Canon 100-400 zoom. As a lot of my photos are of sports, particularly my son's football (Australian Rules), I weakened earlier this year when I saw this lens on special. It is a fun lens.

Love that first pic. Its a great composition.

I have these things all around my place. I love to hate them because they are such a beautiful bird, but they can do so much damage and are very noisy in large flocks...especially at 5am in summer.
