I made this exact same post last year (we do it every year).

Here is the link to the thread and images I took last year http://www.photography.ca/Forums/people-photography-portraits-sports-etc/16274-great-pumpkin-charlie-brown-please-critique.html

Really nice AT. Big change from last year. You have nailed the lighting and those eyes are great.

These are far better on many levels AT - sharpness, comp, lighting.

The only area that is the same is the cuteness of your kids!

Wow, quite a difference. Love the new shots. Now, is this the same gear? Are you processing differently? What, to you, made the biggest improvement?

Only difference in gear is the lens, Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 (last year I used a basic lens or maybe a 50mm), plus I now use Lightroom instead of GIMP for processing. I also used my basic flip flash on these because it was getting late in the afternoon and the lighting on their faces was getting dark (I need to get a speedlite).

While we were there, there was a young couple doing the same with their baby, but they only had a camera phone, so I took some and emailed them to them.

I know I cut off her feet, but she wasn't to cooperative and these two were the best I could get
