I'm enjoying your photos. Last one is my favorite because of the sharp front parts and the out of focus rear areas. How much did you sharpen these? They are all shots with lots of texture and detail, and at the distance seem somewhat unnaturally sharp.

Thanks all. I am glad you are enjoying the variety

Thanks for that observation Mike. They weren't heavily sharpened, but some of them did have some significant other processing. The first was single RAW image tone-mapped, the house was 3 shot HDR tone-mapped and the B & W was processed in Silver Efex Pro. Shots 1,2 & 3 are with a new wide angle zoom, so should have fairly deep DOF

I am wondering if you get the same effect looking at the large versions on Flickr? I am thinking that since I purchased a new monitor a few weeks ago I have been saving and uploading larger dimension images to Flickr. I have previously found that linked smaller versions are sharpened as a result of Flickr making them smaller, and wondering if this a contributing factor.

All great. #3 in BW is my favorite. Also #4 is excellent - I love the lines in both.

As was said, a nice variety, and all extremely well executed with comp. and PP technique. Btw, love the tree perspective.

2 and 3 are my favorites for sure. The house is very surreal looking. Did somebody actually grow the trees in a spiral like that for number 3?

Very nice set. I too like the perspective in the first one.

I think I like the maze best, followed by the grass.

Once again, thank you all for your comments. It has been interesting to see the variety in peoples "favorites"

I don't know for sure, but I feel fairly confident that it was made from cut logs.
