Exposure Compensation - Canon 7D

Does anybody know the quick way of doing exposure compensation on a 7D. From what I have read so far, I am going to the quick screen, moving the cursor to the exposure compensation block and then making the adjustment. This takes too long. On my Rebel, I simply held my thumb on the Av button and turned the wheel.

The quick control dial (back of camera dial) is set to change exposure compensation (see page 108 in the manual). Hope this helps. All the buttons are customizable in C.Fn IV -1(page 233). Gotta love a very complicated camera.

It might be like my 60D. After you half click to wake everything up and are able to change the settings the wheel on the back does the exposure compensation. Scroll the wheel left of right to set it up or down.

Looks like the question is answered.

Just be aware it can be easy to accidently set the exposure compensation. If you don't check the viewfinder each time, it is easy to reel off a few shots before realizing exposure compensation is set. I have done that a few times. The "Lock" switch just below the dial is to prevent this

Also important! Just like the ISO - Once it is set, it stays there until changed again - so remember to remove is as soon as you are done.
