The sun is stealing the show here for me, personally I would not have included it.
I like the sun in my images only when it compliments the image, it should never take over the image.
In addition, the 'gesture' of the rower could be far more interesting if he were actually rowing.
So I'm afraid this image is not working for me if I'm being brutally honest.

I prefer the other version of this photo, as the composition I feel is stronger, and I don't think the color in this photo helps it that much. The shot would be better if it was like the BW version, but you can get the head out of the horizons shadows.

I think I'm with realist on this one. I much prefer your shot in B&W. As in the B&W shot I would also prefer it if you were a little higher (or he was a little closer to shore) so his entire head had the water as the background.

Thank you all for your comments. When I took this picture I thought it had a some potential being good in it. But when it was not as I expected it to be, I think I struggled with it too much. Have to learn to let go of your pics:sad:
