Really cool viewpoint and image. Gull is not required IMO

It made me laugh, that's for sure. But it obviously changes the entire image and I don't feel it's making it stronger.
maybe if you clone the gull and flip it and mirror it....

Yeah, it was definitely put in as an afterthought. Have the same image without the gull as well .... spent a lot of time masking and drawing on this one. Should really invest in a Wacom tablet, would make things easier .. the mouse thing is not very accurate. There are two main images that i combined on this composite. Tried to emulate Escher. This is an idea I had for our "creative" competition at the photo club. So I think I will submit the "without the gull" one ...

Lol.. the gull reminds me of the infamous "Banff chipmunk" from a few years back.
Love the abstract quality of this and I'm in agreement about the gull. :)

Thanks Casil; would you believe the Lake Louise chipmunk prompted me to put the gull in there? Anyway, I think I best use the other image, grin ....

Yeah the seagull made me laugh too. The shapes in the photo are really interesting though, and lighting is great too.
