Yes, I had to work. The high was 25F. The ice picture was done from the bank - there were definitely some interesting angles to be had if you were dressed for standing shin deep in the water. Alas, I was not. Clashes with the office dress code. :headslap:

Oh I really like that second one. The red really stands out against the white background. Also I like the ice formations in the third one.

Thank you, asnow. I've been trying to do something interesting with those berries for a couple of weeks. The snow and the pond freezing over finally gave me a decent background.

Like these a lot. Number 2 does have very nice color. Like the composition on the 3rd one too.

Three very nice shots there Q1.

#1 I love the tones & lines
#2 Nice composition and I like the colour standing out from the background.
#3 Cool shapes in the ice and I like the movement of the water.

Nice work

Thanks, Realist and Runmonty. Some of the snow melted off today, but we're supposed to get more tonight.

Great shots. I find it interesting the shapes the ice can make near moving water...I have a shot that looks like a perfect bar rack!

Thanks, HBG and Randitola. The water there is very shallow, but kinda fast. It's provided by a small spillway leading off a man made pond behind the apartments. Lots of spray coating anything that falls in - in this case, a large tree limb.
